Bloom in Shadow Counseling
Stephanie Mollo, LMHC expressive arts therapist
Because even in darkness, we bloom.
Wounds don’t disqualify us from healing—they're often where the work begins. Whether you’re carrying the weight of trauma, navigating identity, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a space to soften, to remember, and to grow.

I offer trauma-informed, holistic therapy for teens and young adults—especially those within LGBTQ+ and
BIPOC communities. With a blend of EMDR, expressive arts, and a decolonial framework,
I hold space that is grounded, creative, and attuned to both science and soul.

Together, we’ll move at your pace—honoring your truth, your rhythms,
and the resilience that brought you here.

The Benefits of Therapy
The Benefits of Therapy

Therapy is more than a space to talk—it’s a place to be deeply seen,
heard, and supported as you move through the messy, meaningful work of healing.
In our work together, therapy can help you:
-
Process trauma and break generational cycles
Through EMDR, expressive arts, and body-based work, we gently untangle the impact of past experiences and create space for new patterns to emerge.

-
Build a more compassionate relationship with yourself
Whether you're exploring identity, healing attachment wounds, or navigating OCD, therapy offers tools for self-understanding, self-trust, and self-worth.

-
Restore connection—within and beyond
As you reconnect with your body, emotions, and sense of meaning, you may find your relationships deepen and your boundaries strengthen.

-
Learn to regulate your nervous system
We’ll explore practical strategies rooted in neuroscience to support emotional resilience, reduce overwhelm, and make room for joy and rest.

-
Integrate your values, intuition, and inner wisdom
With a holistic, decolonial lens, therapy can support you in remembering your wholeness, honoring your lineage, and creating a life that aligns with your truth.

-
Experience healing that includes humor and hope
Healing isn’t always linear—or serious. We’ll make space for lightness and laughter, even in the midst of deep work. Sometimes, humor opens the door to healing when nothing else can.

Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about coming home to yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, you're welcome here.
